It was when Sally Greer worked with an art gallery to develop a book for it's clients that she first realised her passion for the challenging process of publishing. Teamed with a background in design, photography and illustration, setting up independent publishing house Beatnik seemed to make sense.
Producing beautifully designed books on an eclectic range of subjects from food to cafe culture, fashion to poetry, Sally puts Beatnik’s success down to the relationships formed in the publishing process, and in her team’s passion both for books and culture.
“We’ve succeeded because we place a lot of importance on relationships and value culture here at Beatnik and in the community. We want to support the artists and creators out there by being a vehicle for them to use to gain a greater audience.”
